This past weekend, I got a chance to work with two incredible kids. Meet Abbie and Lila.
Lila is 7 months old and one of the most easy going babies you’ll ever meet. This baby gave me so many great poses that it was really hard for me to decide which ones to put on the blog. Abbie was a little fire cracker and a lot of fun to take pictures of. By the end of the shoot, she was directing me on how I should pose her next.
It was an absolute joy to take photos of these two kiddos and finally getting out in the sun after several days of miserable rain.
Here are a few of the shots from that day:

I’ve been really excited about posting this shoot! There were just so many great photos to pick from. I got a great mixture of family and child portraits and the lighting was exceptional.
Adelyn is absolutely a sweet and an incredibly cute girl (as you can see). Despite the fact that she is only 9 months old, she was one of the easiest babies to work with.
At first, I was a little concerned about the wind being too much of a deterrent, but you should have seen Adelyn’s face when a gentle breeze would blow through. She would just close her eyes, muster up the most peaceful smile you’ve ever seen, and just let her hair blow in the wind. I think this girl is probably going to want a convertible when she grows up – Watch out mommy and daddy!
Here are a few of my favorites from the shoot:

So I realize that it’s not Christmas, but it’s time that I get these photos up here.
I spent this particular weekend with some incredibly photogenic models. I don’t think you can find kids that can cheese it up to the camera more than these kids. I would be lying if I was to say that I wasn’t exhausted from running up and down the San Gabriel Park with a 7, 4, and 2 year old, but it was an absolute joy spending time with this family.
I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I do!

This has to be one of my favorite pictures from that day. Sometime the best photos are the ones that aren’t planned at all.

I recently went out and took some new photos of Gabriella and Simone. We headed out to the San Gabriel Park in Georgetown, just north of Austin. They have an incredible canopy of trees and lots of awesome scenery, so we had a great time shooting out there. These two are easy to get great photos of!

So the blog has been a little empty lately. I had knee surgery about a month ago and have been slowly recovering, so unfortunately I haven’t been able to take photos for a while. Things are looking better and I’m walking again, so I’m hoping to get back into the swing of things soon!

Cari and I had a blast taking pictures of Erica in downtown Austin the other day. She was a great model and we really enjoyed hanging out with her. It was an incredibly hot day, but Erica made the most of it. Thank you Erica for being so patient as we walked down South Congress in the blistering heat!
I am really happy with how these turned out. I am just amazed at all the little things that, in the past, I have missed walking around downtown. So many great backgrounds and colors to play around with yet so little time.
Enjoy these beautiful photos of Erica!

We went downtown to take some photos of Valerie two weekends ago. She has recently made the decision to join the Adventures in Missions program, and she’ll be spending the next two years in the mission field. She wanted to have some portraits taken here in Austin before she leaves.
Valerie wanted some fun and creative shots. We decided to go to downtown Austin because of the awesome backdrops and settings you can find just walking downtown. The weather was awesome, which was a huge relief after so many 100 degree days! Here are some of my favorite photos from the day. She was a great model, and it was hard to pick just a few favorites! Best of luck, Valerie, as you embark on your new adventure!

I recently took some photos of a new real estate listing at 1101 Paw Print in Grand Mesa at Crystal Falls. Grand Mesa is an incredible neighborhood with breathtaking Hill Country views out in Leander. This home is stunning, as you’ll see in the photos. It overlooks the Crystal Falls Golf Course, and even has a state of the art GPS lighting system that comes on at night to light up the home and incredible pool. Needless to say, it was fun to take photos of this home!
If you’d like more information about this home, please contact Lisa Billingsley at 512.848.6888 or lisa@crystalfalls.net.
Here are just a few of the photos from the session. If you’re interested in real estate photography to enhance your listings, please contact me directly for a quote.

Rebekah and Bransen got married on July 25th. It was an honor to be asked to photograph their wedding! The church was filled with so many people who love them, and it was awesome to see these two tie the knot and begin their lives together. It turned out to be a beautiful day, and I stole a few minutes with them outside after the ceremony to capture some shots of them together.
Congratulations, Rebekah and Bransen! We wish you many happy years together.

Couldn’t resist putting this one in. This one makes me laugh every time.

We were over at our friends Andrew and Elanor’s house the other night having dinner, and decided after the meal to step outside and shoot some impromptu pictures of their cute little girl, Rori. Elanor and Cari are working on a project and needed some instrument photos (Andrew is a band director, so there is an abundance of instruments in their home), but Rori is so photogenic that it quickly turned into a full out photo session.
From the photos, it looks like Aurora definitely caught Andrew and Elanor’s musical genes!
